Yay! Those are fun games. The only one I haven't heard of is Apples to Apples - what's that like?
Ooh. Fun TT, Kat! I should do this with our bizarre set of board games one week! DH is a game designer so he's always looking for new stuff to try.
We love Fish Eat Fish and Hey! That's my Fish! For kid themed games, but Set and Blockus are two of our favorite adult type games (though the kids (10 & 11) like those too.
Happy TT!

We love games in our house. Like, chess, yahtzee, scrabble, cranium, boggle... We love putting together puzzles as well.
Happy T13!
Oooo...pictionary, clue, scrabble and taboo are excellent games! Other favorites are boggle and catch phrase.
I like all those games, but don't play them very often. I think I spend more time playing "Give that back!" than anything else.

We used to play monopoly a lot as kids, but my favorite was yahtzee.
I love Apples to Apples, too!
I never liked Risk, either. And when I used to babysit, this little boy always wanted to play Stocks and Bonds. BORING.
We bought the kids Apples to Apples for Christmas and it quickly became a favorite. Others we love? Balderdash and Imaginiff. Sadly, no one will play Trivial Pursuit with me 'cuz I always win. (sniff!) Fun list!
I love games, too. We have a half dozen versions of Monopoly, and 3 or 4 of Clue. We just got Apples to Apples for Christmas, and everybody loved it, even my mother-in-law! :)
Cranium makes THE BEST games, don't they?
These sorts of games are great fun and totally underrated.
We just got taboo this year for christmas - what a fun game!

I LOVE Spades. The Redneck and I play cribbage. The kids and I play "Go Fish".
Love this list, Kathleen.
Bummer - you don't like Trivial Pursuit? Too bad - I love that one (I'll have to challenge Gina to a game, sometime)!
I'm pretty good at Pictionary, though, but that's just about it. However, I hate, hate, HATE "Risk"!
My ex-husband gave me that for Christmas one year - after I'd told him how much I generally hate board games.
Is it any wonder that marriage crashed and burned? LOL!
Great list - I use some of these in my English classes (You should see an Italian try to play Taboo in English sometime - it's hilarious!).
I am an avid rummy player myself, sometimes hearts and occasionally I play my husband a wicked round of memory.
Great list of games. I know most of them. And still play some of them -- both board and on the computer.
I remember loving a game called Payday as a kid.
Chloe
Love Monopoly, Clue,and Taboo!

OOoh, Twister. *waggles eyebrows*
I love Scrabble *surprise, surprise*
Hours and hours of fun. We *have* to get together someday. We could win good money at pictionary. *wink*
Kat, I love Apples to Apples too! It's great fun with adults as well as the small kids and our family plays for hours after sunday dinner.
We do have a lot in common, boggle and scrabble too. But Texas Hold Em Poker still rules. ;)
